We have already contacted a number of people to remind them that Eardisland Share a Care will continue to help residents in these difficult times. We want to reassure all the Eardisland Community that we are here to support anyone who needs it. We have a group of volunteers who will help people to sort out problems and, where appropriate, give practical help. As many of our volunteers are in the ‘at risk’ group the help is more limited than usual but we will always do our best to find someone who is able to sort things out.
We can offer help with, for example - collecting prescriptions, small household jobs which don’t involve personal contact eg -moving bins or heavy objects, cat feeding, dog walking.
We are very happy to spend time just chatting on the phone so that no one feels isolated. phone Margaret on 01544 388097 or Sue on 01544 388066 between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday – Friday if help is needed (not shopping from Eardisland Community Shop)
Please do not abuse this service and contact the emergency services for serious problems.
