Major road works on A4103

Herefordshire Council and Balfour Beatty Living Places were successful in securing £5 million Department for Transport Challenge Fund Bid for resurfacing works on three main arterial routes into Hereford commencing from mid-September.

The Challenge Fund resurfacing works get underway from Monday, 18 September 2017.  To keep you up to speed with the areas that will be resurfaced, I shall be sending you a series of emails giving details as we work our way through the programme, so apologies in advance if you receive lots of emails from me. 

Please find attached plans showing the approximate locations where resurfacing works will take place and when, together with a diversion plan.

Letters will be sent to all residents/businesses that will be immediately affected by the works.  Large variable message signage will be displayed at the start and finish of routes together with other highway signage where the works are taking place.

October Craft Fair Booking Form

Eardisland Craft Fair
This year’s event will be held on Saturday 21st October ’17, between 1000 – 1630.

Once again the venue will be St. Mary’s Church but due to the demand received last year there will be extra room in a marquee in the church grounds.

Despite the extra room it is expected that all available space will be booked within a few weeks, so if you are interested in taking a stall please book as quickly as possible by contacting me on This email address is being protected from spambots. Defibrillator is now live

The community defibrillator, sited in the BT phonebox by the bus shelter, is now live and logged onto West Midlands Ambulance Service's system.

In an emergency dial 999 and give the ID number from the notice in the box. WMAS will give you the code to open the storage cabinet to take the defibrillator and equipment to the casualty.
