Eardisland W.I.

Formed in 1919 by Mrs Mary Watters and Mrs Edith Smith who were the Grandmother and Mother of the late Mrs Pat Roche.

We have speakers on varied topics, enjoy crafts such as card making, floral art etc. We take part in W.I. group shows exhibiting photographs, art, needle work in many forms, cookery, wine and of course jam making.

Schedule of Meetings

Second Monday each month in the committee room in the Village Hall except in August.

13th May 24 - Speaker Ben Woodcock on Local Environmental Issues

10th June 24 - Visit to Burford Gardens, Tenbury Wells

8th July 24 - Garden Party at The Old Vicarage, Eardisland

August - No meeting

9th September 24 - Taster Bowls session at The Eardisland Bowling Club

14th October 24 - Visit to The Judges Lodgings in Presteigne

11th November 24 - Speaker Mavis Tantrum demonstrating flowers for Christmas

9th December 24 - Christmas meal, Venue TBA

13th January 25 - Speaker Carole Millin on The History of the English Language

10th February 25 - Speaker Alexandra from Croft Farm Knapton on Homemade Chocolates

10th March 25 - AGM and Social.
