We will be holding the annual Eardisland Litter pick on Saturday 19th March. This is a great opportunity to get litter cleared from the village and verges before the grass gets too long.
We have a number of litter grabbers, hi-vis tabards and plastic sacks available (thanks to Connops and the Community Shop for providing these) and these will be available outside the Community Shop for volunteers to collect.
We'll aim to start around 10am.
Full sacks to be left in the village carpark.
There will be a map provided so that you can mark which areas you hope to cover so we avoid doing routes twice.
It is suggested that if you are walking an ‘out and back’ route then you don’t start picking until the return journey, so you won’t have to carry full sacks.
For the past few years,we have recycled as many cans, plastic, and glass as possible, so if you can sort these as you go that would be helpful See less
